to the Catholic Reading Society at Paulist Press.

Our mission is to foster an understanding of the truth and richness of the Catholic tradition and to provide opportunities for spiritual growth among the Christian community. We do this by making high quality and theologically sound materials available to all ages—books, programs, magazines, online content, and more. The Society encompasses a variety of services that enable Christians and Catholic Christians to support each other in faith, to grow in commitment to those given us as family and community, and to deepen their own relationship with God.

As you browse through this site, you will also find many programs structured for Catholics who have the desire and/or the task of spreading the Good News. The materials here are designed for children and families, for the inquiring minds of our fellow Catholic adults, and for our sisters and brothers of other religious beliefs who are interested in learning about Catholicism.

Pastors, directors of religious education, pastoral teams, teachers, catechists, parents, teens, children, grandparents, godparents, lay ministers, and interested people of all backgrounds Individuals will find one or several aspects of this site that will open doors to enriching spiritual growth, whether by teaching, learning, or reading about Catholic traditions or how current world conditions impact the Catholic Church.

All materials published or purchased for your use within the Society are closely scrutinized to meet the objectives of encouraging the expressions and impact of the Gospel, but we are keenly aware that all of this cannot be accomplished without your input.
